Project Management & Early Beginnings
Pioneer Construction Technologies began with Huzefa Trunkwala, whose journey in construction started in project management and civil contracting in the early 2000s.
Hands-On Civil Contracting
In 2005, he moved into civil contracting — spending years on sites, managing labour, solving problems and learning construction the hard way: by doing it.
Waterproofing & Technical Breakthroughs
In the late 2000s, he saw an opportunity that was still largely unexplored in Nashik — waterproofing through modern construction chemicals. What followed was a journey of experimentation, failures, breakthroughs and hundreds of projects across residential, commercial, government, infrastructure, hospitality and institutional sectors. Along the way, Huzefa became known not just as a contractor, but as a passionate student and educator of waterproofing and construction technology.
Consulting, Professionalization & Scaling
Today, that experience forms the foundation of Pioneer’s consulting and trading business.
And now, with him, his son, Hashim Trunkwala, a Chartered Accountant with experience in corporate finance, business consulting and CFO advisory, joined the business with a clear objective — to professionalize, structure and scale what his father built.
